🚨 School Closure Update – Friday, January 30
Due to unsafe road conditions in the northern areas of our district, Cooper ISD will be closed on Friday, January 30.
While some roads have drastically in most parts of the district, some areas still remain shaded by trees and have not cleared as anticipated—particularly in and around Ben Franklin, Enloe, and Rattan. These conditions continue to create safety concerns for student drivers, staff, and school buses.
Even with a delayed start, our buses would still need to begin routes as early as 7:30 AM when temperatures will remain below freezing, creating unsafe travel conditions.
Canceling school is never a decision we want to make, but student and staff safety must always come first.
Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support as we work to protect and provide for our Bulldog family. 🩶🐾
We miss you and will see you soon!

🚫 No School — Thursday, January 29th
Due to continued unsafe road conditions in rural areas throughout the district for student, and staff travel, we will hold off on returning to school for one more day to allow for additional thawing with sunshine.
The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority. Please continue to monitor official district communication channels for updates regarding rescheduled games and afterschool events.
Mother Nature got a little help from CISD today 💨❄️ Bruno & our amazing maintenance and operations team have been working hard the last few days to protect facilities and prepare for student and staff return… but even with teamwork, the ice just isn’t melting fast enough to ensure safe travel for students, staff, and buses. Out of an abundance of caution, Cooper ISD will remain closed through Wednesday. 📅 All Wednesday afterschool activities will be rescheduled as we continue to prioritize safety across the district. Thank you for your continued patience and flexibility. Student and staff safety remains our top priority—always. Stay warm, stay safe, Bulldogs! 🩶🐾

Due to continued unsafe road conditions and low temperatures, Cooper ISD will be closed Tuesday, January 27th.
All afterschool activities scheduled for Tuesday are being rescheduled.
Cooper ISD will continue to monitor road conditions and determine if a delayed start or cancellation is needed for Wednesday.
The safety of our students and staff remains our utmost priority.
Stay warm, stay safe, Bulldogs! 🩶🐾
❄️⛄ NO SCHOOL MONDAY! ❄️⛄
Cooper ISD will be closed on Monday, January 26, due to inclement weather. We will continue to monitor the weather and road conditions and will share an update on Monday afternoon regarding school on Tuesday.
Stay safe & cozy, Bulldogs, and enjoy some extra time with your families! 🩶🐾
