Cooper Mighty Maroon Bands 2023 – 2024!

We invite you to take a few minutes to explore  what the Cooper Mighty Maroon Band Program and Cooper Band Boosters have to offer! 

About Our Program

The Cooper Jr/Sr High School Mighty Maroon Band Program has an established tradition of Excellence.  We are dedicated to the success of all our students in each endeavor they choose to undertake.

We currently have about 100 students enrolled in the band program, which services approximately a fourth of Cooper Jr/Sr High School. 

Our performance groups include a Beginner Band for first time band students, an Intermediate Band for second year band students, and a Varsity Band for students in 8th – 12th grade.  We also provide small ensemble opportunities for our students like the Cooper Percussion Ensemble and the Cooper Brass Quintet.  Under the direction of Mr. Jeremiah Hastings and Mr. Matt Golden, our students have achieved excellent and superior ratings at local and statewide competitions.

Support Our Program

Fundraising is an essential part of running an effective band program and is necessary to maintain a high-quality music program for all members of the Cooper Band Program.  Without the support of our Band Booster Club, it would be impossible to provide all the necessary items for our students. Fundraising for our booster club allows us to provide the following:

  • Scholarships for Seniors

  • Miscellaneous Supplies for Students (Reeds, Value Oil, Slide Grease, etc.)

  • Meals for trips and activities

  • Band Trip Fees

  • T-Shirts and Other Uniform Supplies

Every parent is invited to take an active role in our Band Booster Club.
