What is AVID?

AVID stands for Advancement Via Individual Determination.

Simple answer? We help students be ready for success in life outside of high school.

The AVID program covers curriculum that helps students learn to be organized, keep a planner, take notes, keep on top of grades, learn critical reading strategies, develop public speaking skills, apply for college, fill out financial aid, and search and fill out scholarships, among other things.
