Mr. Hastings is a 2005 graduate of Burkburnett High School in Burkburnett, Texas.  He studied under Dr. Brian Zator at Texas A&M University – Commerce and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Music Education. He has served his entire teaching career at Cooper Jr/Sr High School and has led the band to many superior ratings in UIL competition. He is an active member of the Association of Texas Small School Bands (ATSSB) and the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA).

Mr. Golden is a 2018 graduate of Melissa High School in Melissa, Texas. He attended college at Texas A&M University – Commerce and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Music in Music Education in 2022.  He is an active member of the International Clarinet Association (ICA) and has several performances at the ICA Clarinetfest. He is also an active member of the Association of Texas Small School Bands (ATSSB) and the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA).
