As I reflect during this time of the year, I’m mindful of the many things that we are thankful for here at Cooper Junior High School.
We are most fortunate to have a team of dedicated faculty and staff who work day in and day out to provide not only a safe and supportive learning environment, but also the best educational experiences possible for our students. That said, too quickly might we think that that is all that it takes. We here at Cooper Junior High are also fortunate to be situated in a great community and amongst supportive families who together work to support the efforts of the school.
Probably in education more so in any other arena, it is imperative that all stakeholders work together and move in the same direction in order to ensure the best success for our students. We sincerely appreciate the work that parents do each day in supporting their children's success in school; whether it is making sure that children are prepared and present for school; helping their children with their homework and organization; monitoring their children's grades on a regular basis; alerting the school of any concerns, changes in behaviors/attitudes; etc. Every bit helps and makes a significant difference.
On behalf of all of us here at Cooper Junior High School, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your families a successful new year.
